As In-House Counsel and Marketing Manager for the western area of the state, Kelsey Hathaway is a high-value title resource for Key Title customers across the state.

Raised in Raleigh, Kelsey earned her BFA from Elon University, magna cum laude, and her JD from Campbell University, trial advocate concentration. A staunch defender of the Constitution, Kelsey has spent much of her career representing indigent clients and supporting the underserved as a trial attorney. For nearly a decade before joining Key Title, Kelsey worked as a closing attorney in high-volume real estate law firms representing builders, developers, lenders, and individuals in complex and multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Her clients love her ability to connect with them on a deep level and appreciate her creative and efficient solutions to title problems. As a licensed title insurance underwriter in North Carolina, Kelsey also creates and implements educational programs for both law firms and our affiliate REALTOR® partners.

Outside of her law career, Kelsey is a classically trained singer and actor and has performed in numerous professional theatres stateside and abroad. She and her husband, Steve, are frequent international travelers and love bourbon, Dobermans, and Duke basketball.
